About this blog:

This road sign is located somewhere in central Texas.

MaryAnn and I our retired and traveling in a motor home – we call it, our “Next Chapter.” This blog is about our travels across North America in our 25 foot long Leisure Travel Van with two Shitzu pups, Peeta and Luna on the open road – we call it, “The Barber Road.” Unless specifically labeled, all pictures and videos are mine.

The road of life is full of ups and downs and twists and turns. We need God’s help to navigate all the challenges life brings our way. Don’t try to go it alone.
Where did the road go? It seems to have just disappeared!

We aren’t golfers, we aren’t fishermen or boaters–we’re explorers. We just want to see as much as we can for as long as we can until our time on this earth is over.

Avery Island, Louisiana.

Everyone is invited to join us on our adventures as we travel the “Barber Road.” Who knows where the road might lead us…

(The picture above is of the Pecos River in southwest Texas.) My name is Terry C Barber, I am a disabled veteran, retired military and retired pastor. MaryAnn’s a retired special education teacher. Our Next Chapter, the open road – we call it “the Barber Road.” You're invited to join us as we explore North America in our Leisure Travel Van with two Shitzu pups.
